Together Again in March!

Sunday School was back in-person and in full swing for the month of March, and we have been BUSY. Gathering together for the season of Lent has been a joy, and our bible explorations and activity responses have been a wonderful mixture of art, sewing, building, decorating and dancing. Check out our pictures for a sneak peek into our experiences for all three weeks of Sunday School!

March 13th: exploring the story of God as a Mother Hen. We built our Lent road to count 40 days and explored eggs!

Creating playdough and beeswax chickens
Loving and wrapping our babies, keeping them safe just like a Mother Hen
March 20th: exploring the story of God as a patient and wise gardener. Here we are making tissue paper trees!
And creating super cool wire trees
Can’t forget about a quiet trip through our labyrinth!
March 27th: exploring the story of God as a loving and forgiving father with the Prodigal Son. Who wants to feed some pigs??
We threw a party! Just like the loving father in our story. The kids loved decorating!
Chicken Dance, anyone? SO. MUCH. FUN.
Children worked hard to design the house, garden, and pigpen in our story. The pigs are piled high!
