The three Sundays in April have been filled with Easter joy in Sunday School as we’ve learned, played and prayed together. On April 12th, we baked Resurrection Rolls (a marshmallow wrapped in crescent dough and dipped in butter, cinnamon, and sugar) as a delicious reminder of Jesus’ empty tomb. On April 19th, we explored the gorgeous art of Pysanky eggs with our special guest, Dulcey Lacroix. Dulcey shared her incredible handmade Pysanky eggs and taught us about the ancient craft of Ukranian egg dyeing. And on April 26th, we celebrated Earth Day by playing with a gigantic inflated globe in our Welcome Garden (we held the whole world in our hands!) and creating fun Earth Day chalk art.
