Sunday School Spreads the Love!

As our Sunday school kids are learning about the Beatitudes and living our lives as Jesus taught us with love, kindness, justice and generosity, we decided to practice our faith by making a yummy snack for the whole congregation. The children worked together to spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, and roll up pieces of bread to create Spread-the-Love Pinwheels. They were a huge (and delicious) hit! The kids passed and served these treats to everyone after the worship service, “sprinkling and spreading” their love and kindness throughout the sanctuary. Such a sweet (literally!) way to bring Jesus’ teachings to life!
