Youth Group Starts Out Strong with Fun, Friendships, and Faith

We’re off to a fabulous start this year with record numbers of participants in our Sunday morning classes as well as our special events.  The youth group kicked off the new program year with its annual “Welcome Back Party” complete with games, pizza, and ice cream sundaes.  And we continued the fun with a festive morning together walking in the Minuteman Man Arc March.  Thanks to the entire WCUC team – walkers and donors alike.  Together we raised over $2000.00 for this incredible organization that services adults with disabilities as well as children ages 0-3 who need early invention care.  Our social and service activities are grounded in faith formation classes that aim to connect Biblical themes with real life experiences, help students to trust one another as they build community, and continually remind them of God’s abiding presence.
